Sample Response:
The only time when I feel comfortable with confidentiality is when I can see the connection between that confidentiality and the good-of-the-division/company. There are those who see their exclusive information or knowledge as a power and control tool, and I believe that their attitude is detrimental to the workplace.
I see myself more-often-than-not asking to not be included in confidential information, feeling that if it’s not something that everyone can benefit from knowing about than I probably don’t need to know about it either.
