Sample Response: I have been reading since I was about seven years old. More and more I find myself returning to things I’ve already read and re-reading them. It’s a great way to inventory how much you’ve changed and matured. There are some books that now seem childish and juvenile, that perhaps were once enlightening and humorous. The last book I read was Huckleberry Finn. I find that I focus more now on the author’s voice then I do on his caricatures and plot. Mark Twain was a tremendous social commentator and critic, and Huckleberry Finn offers insight that is still applicable today.
