Strategy Statement: The success story is important, but emphasize the “why” over the “what”.

Sample Response:The hiring process needs to qualifications-based. A solid job description needs to be established prior to the interview process. This description needs to be the result of feedback and input from the workplace as well as from the interview team.

From the description, candidate qualifications and aptitudes need to be established, and questions formulated. Any concerns over whether I would be able to get along with the individual were dismissed (after all, why would I not get along with an individual who was exactly who we
were looking for?).
