Strategy Statement: The interviewer wants to hear about your marketing philosophy and the answer really depends on the position and job description.

Sample Response:

I am not in favor of cold calls. Neither party involved has the opportunity to be genuinely prepared, and it makes for a very defensive atmosphere. The seller hasn’t had the opportunity to realistically analyze the needs of his client, and the client is robbed of the opportunity to assess their own needs and how those needs might be satisfied.

In this kind of a
climate, the best result can only be a short-term/small picture arrangement, which (in the long run) satisfies neither party.
