Strategy Statement:

The interviewer wants to get a sense of your managerial strategies and your people skills. How do you form that team?

Sample Response:

I have always initiated that dialogue by first letting co-workers and team members know what they can expect from me. Following that, I ask for feedback, input and questions. Through that process, I gain a clear understanding of what they hope to see in me. I then turn the conversation around and allow others to tell me what I can expect from them. This is then followed by my providing feedback, input and questions... which then gives the employees a clear sense of what I hope to see in them.
