Strategy Statement:

The interviewer wants to know more about your tolerance level and those things you see in others that make you uncomfortable. The response should be framed in as positive a light as possible.

Sample Response:

I work very hard at developing a trusting and respectful work environment. When I see those efforts short-circuited, it creates stress. The short-circuiting elements might include rumor-spreading, back-stabbing, behind-the-back whispering, one upsmanship, and rallying employees to go against another employee.

All of these strategies are in such opposition to what I work toward! By making my expectations clear, and monitoring the workplace as close as I feel I may need to, I can generally sense of these things developing. Nipping the problem “in the bud” has saved me an incalculable amount of time, energy, and stress.
